Can We Make a Hydro-Electric Powered Car?

The Online Think Tank recently got together to come up with the least plausible way to build a car motor, that did not use fossil fuels and then prove that it could work? Why you ask, well it has a lot to do with "imagination" and Einstein's advice to never stop dreaming, and for inventors and innovators that's where it all starts isn't it?

So, the Online Think Tank has invented or rather hypothesized a Hydro-Electric car that would never need to refill. But the technology concept was really for a Hydro-dam and another for a Blimp or rotating dirigible. A similar scheme can be used to refill water behind dames, as the dam could use a suction plan like Civil Engineer Mulholland did to get water over the mountain into Los Angeles.

The Online Think Tank concept to build a car like this is similar and the suction is aided by forward air increasing the siphoning effect, like a vacuum. When the vehicle slowed down it would use re-generative paddles to put the water back into the tank or use a small gear to tilt the entire system upside-down in order to put the water back on top. The challenges are it might be a little top-heavy, due to 8.2 lbs per gallon and I need a better baffling system.

They have also considered getting the water to move faster to make up for the small fall distance, using the automobiles relative wind to create air pressure in the tank and a air jet in the down tube to increase water speed. One member even discussed using the water movement and rocking effect of the water thru the baffle system to power up additional energy. The Online Think Tank, well they are serious; they are pretty sure with a very light car using new materials that they could make this work.

Other factors include having Ion Lithium batteries with interior webbing of a special substance increasing the power life without increasing the weight (foam scheme). I must tell you, I wanted to do this to power my Golf Cart as soon as I heard about it. The Online Think Tank admits that with all the projects that one is still on the drawing board.

Perhaps, I really need to get a shop, some Cad Cam kids and a bigger budget and make one myself? Speaking of funding, someone ought to contact Exxon or Chevron and get them to fund this thing, then if we mass produce the Oil Companies are "downside protected" in the event of a catastrophic "peak oil" scenario in a decade or two?

Here is a thought on the other Hydro-electric Blimp:
